Chinese New Year Day 3 !!!

today went to eat dim sum for breakfast again! after tat went home then i went coach house. met Daniel at JE then we go together cause the others already there!

at uncle richard house we play the standard balckjack first. i won $14 then i went to play majong... lost $2.30 in majong.... wa lao... they play all simple 1 tai one... i make big big one also no use.... FUK! then JL so lucky won 3 straignt in a row... 2 time i feed 1 time HP feed. wth... nvm went to play blackjack again. in the end, lost $2. i really bua song liao... then i go play dai dee... in the end lose $2..... WTH!!!

combine with yesterday majong, i only win $0.10 this year.... LOL!!! NVM! once year once only... will try harder next year.

LOL! i already go 2 i use as 'eye' then they throw out 3 then i ki siao liao... LOL! one set only should have 4 mah.... y got five 9 suo??

i start to lose so i go rest first later then pia... taking some pics in the mean time....

i want to improve my majong skill so i looking for 3 ppl to come my house regularly for games, want? just remember to bring money to my house :D

1 cube of sugar with some cream of cassis(black carrant liqueur) top with champgne. taste good... had many drinks today.. a dozen of tiger, some vodka + 7up ice and champgne cocktail... wat a day :D

Morning wake up and change into new clothes then went out to have our Breakfast! we went to a hotel at city area... make a guess :D


after we ordered then the first dish came... its the dish that i think most ppl in singapore will know, its yu sheng(aka raw fish salad)!

Very hot day today... so i made a simple drink.

well, i enjoy eating steam boat cause its fun. and if i'm not wrong, i learn the basic principle of cooking by eating steam boat when i was young. and the above is fresh scallop which is one of my fav :D the steam boat i ate today is considered very healthy. the ingredients includes soup(one side is chicken soup, the other side is chicken soup + japanese bean paste, miso), 4 diff type of mushroom, fish, abalone, my fav scallop and 1 whole basket of veggy!

Used the strawberry+rum infuse i made on 19/01/2006. the strawberry taste is lite but its great! Hemo No.5 is made with my own rum infuse, blue caracao, bombay sapphire gin, Maraschino liqueur, blackcurrant vodak and rose syrup. damn strong drink with damn a lot of kick and a damn great drink! lol... i think i name it Buried Rose Berry aka BRB! its rose syrup+berry taste with some rum taste with really damn lot of kick.

well, a great dinner... gonna try sleep early... going to have dim sum early in the morning at a hotel... :D then maybe going to the river ang pao thing... hope not raining...

I finally sleep for 9 hours... woke up and did some ligh reading. going to bowling later althought still got backache... sianz chinese new year comming... those relative gonna ask those standard question again... everytime ask me where i study and wat coures, i tell liao they also dunno sia... anyway

I dunno wat i am stressing about... but i feel pressure and a force keep pressing on me. awake for 31+hours... in class now i dunno wat class is it... if i pay attention to the lecturer i cfm sleep... but i cannot sleep for long will keep getting awake thinking work is not done but in fact i never get things done b4.... thought of a way to keep myself awake; watching LOST... i finish watching liao dunno wat to do.... might fall asleep soon... maybe go spam bowling club forum ba... WATS GOING ON IN MY LIFE???

Stress!!!

yesterday after school went bowling then eat prawn noodle with HP and JL... after tat HP bring us to a place near beach road to eat some more........ LOL! we went there i kinda full so was thinking desserts will do... so i ordered a chocolate fondue... HOLY COW!!! the chocolate fondue was GODLIKE! mashmallow with warm chocolate, banana with warm chocolate and strawberry with warm chocolate taste good! and the Bread Pudding is another GODLIKE!!! LOL now then bring me there... the Desserts there quite good sia...

after tat we went home but it was quite late so we all walk to parco bugis junction taxi stand to take cab. well cannot imagine the queue is so long at tat time lor... anyway i cannot forget the bread pudding and chocolate fondue.


this morning i dunno y woke up so late (1pm) when i have class at 10am... siao bo i went to check my alarm clock and see... my alarm clock working perfectly... tats means i sleep like a dead person... anyway... since i have time i went to the kitchen make a mess again...

well the pork chop was seasoned with chilli pepper for abt 2 days, its too long i guess.... its spicy and i think i'm the only person in my house that like spicy food... the lamb chop was marinaded with rosemery and mint... but i think its not enuf to take away the unique smell of the lamb meat. the onion sauce is made using chicken stock, onion, white wine(finally finish all the left over wine...) and some black pepper.

after cooking i went to school to hand in a paper then went KSP bowling... today bowl average of 158... i was happy cause the scores are all very close like +/- 10 only... tats means i'm more consistan with my bowling... went apporach ben to see if i have chance to join his team for tuesday league. althought he nv directly reject me, but i know it... i got no chance... nvm... next season i'll try to find a team or maybe i'll form a team then sponser the thropy fund (only if can find good bowler) ...

after bowling i went to eat prawn noodle with HP and JL. we join ivan(national youth... mai siao siao) roose (i dunno how to spell...) after roose left, the 4 of us kept chatting... after a while ivan left then the 3 of us chat till 1am+...

well, i made up my mind! starting from today(as at 27-01-2006 12:00am) i'll completely change the style of bowling!

Fried chicken unhealthy so need salad to balance it... anyway... feel like eating sumthing spicy so i added tabasco sauce so spice up the chicken. well the skin of the chicken was so tasty tat i "forget" to remove... sianz... skin got so much cholesterol and saturated fat... must eat more leafy veggy if not i'll die more early...

ate the chicken with tiger beer cause i lazy to make cocktail... finish liao i went back to my room do some light reading

then at abt 5pm+ i finally finish downloading LOST Season 2 Eps 1 !!!!! I cannot wait to watch sia... 100ml blackcurrant flavoured vodka, 40 ml cream of cassis(black currant flavoured liqueur), 10 ml Ribena then top with ice.

this drink liao i really feel sleepy liao... i think this should be the drink that have the most kick i made... i rarely make drink tat made up of 90% and above alcohol stuff... this really sweet drink contains abt 40%+ alcohol/volume and i so noob tat is drink all in 5 min... really sleepy liao liao...

Real Lemon chicken

If you think lemon chicken is a piece of chicken, deep fried then serve with lemon sauce, you are wrong! If you think its right, imagine same piece of fried chicken serve with black pepper sauce then its black pepper chicken?

Lemon Chicken

In my opinion, Real lemon chicken should be a piece of chicken meat marinated in lemon flavored stuff (I use lemon juice,lemon skin and some herbs) then fry, not deep fry! The chicken is kinda sour maybe i marinated it for too long. anyway, i serve it with a self made sauce. the sauce includes white wine(leftover of yesterday's wine...), cooking sherry, honey mustard and cornstarch. well, overall it taste better then those fried chicken with lemon sauce :) but i think i can still do a little adjustment like using better cut of meat like boneless drumstick and dun add too much lemon juice, instead add more lemon skin. well, if i have time i'll experiment it some more.

The beta version. it includes Malibu(coconut flavoured liqueur), irish cream ( i dunno its coco or coffee flavour liqueur cause it like a mix of them but wat i know is it really taste creamy) and young coconut juice (the can ones) to top up. its good but no kick at all even though the 2 liqueur i used are 21% and 17% alcohol respectively. therefore.....

Actually its simple to add some kick to it.... just add some vodka lor.... added Malibu, Irish cream, Vodka in a ratio of 2:2:1 . the kick is there but not too strong, its just perfect :) oh, and also the can young coconut juice have pulps, it makes the drink a even better :)

actually wanted to go support the guys team but i woke up at 12.30pm... almost late for the 1.30 pm training.

today at training learn more about ball reaction. the coach used me to demostrate RPM (revolution per minute) and commented about my "a little inconsistant realease"(i know its alot....) but he also told me i got a nice RPM... about 350... Pro bowlers got about 390 - 470 RPM which i'm not too far or already reached if i realease ball in a better timing... well gotta work some more on my realease to achive consistency. so... to maintain consistency, it requires consistency in being consistent. thus i gotta be consistant in my training....

well, after training went home and cook the lemon chicken and make the cocktail. mum and dad went out then mum suddenly call back and tell me they planning to get a dog... WTH! wat about my cute little cat MIMI??? i dun think the will get along... my cat is so agressive that even going to the vet, it scares other animal... then dog won't survive in my house...

luckily, when they reach home they did not carry a dog with them or else i need to spend the night at the vet...

gotta sleep early... tmr private coaching lesson at SP... i will achive my dream which is qualify for school team for IVP this year, Go try out for national youth and at least become top 40 (which qualify for 2nd round) by year 3 in poly and Team Singapore right after NS.

TAXI....

today i woke up at 11.30am... siao liao.... already miss first 2 lesson so cannot miss anymore liao... faster chiong to school but was still late... anyway after sch i took cab to KSP bowl.

while waiting for cab outside school, i am damn pissed off with the cabbie in singapore... usually i'll call for cab if i know its really hard to get cab but today seems good so i did not... wtf! i waited for 20 min no cab... 1 funny thing i realise... i saw some cab without passenger circling around our sch area...

and suddenly it happened...

i was the one flagging a cab and the guy behind me calling for a cab i think, a empty cab driving slowly in front of me slowing down then suddenly show the on call sign... seh....... the most lol part is the cab stop behine me and picked up the guy behine me.... then 1 min later i got a cab liao... then i also realise got many empty cab behine me after i board the cab...

TAXI nowadays.... complain so hard to make a living but in reality they are too choosy lor... want to earn those extra $4 booking fee on peak hours can just circling around an area to wait ppl call... cabbie complain too many cab too much competion. however, y ppl very hard to flag cab on street? Actually there are alot cab. if u call cab usually 90% of the time below 5 min the cab will arrive.... sianz... cabbie complain not enuf customer then ppl complain cab too ex... how to get the balance??

Raining days are very hard to get cab rite? want to call cab also cannot call in casue lines jam? well i got a way but i think most ppl dunno... actually can *654 send cab...

reach KSP and bowl one after another can strike but cannot spare game... sian diao... then at abt 7.30pm hon pun ask me to go support the girls team who were playing NTU Varsity Bowling championship... then i say ok lor (dunno he go there see chio bu bowl in mini skirt or really go support sia...) ... wa sad... reach there see the girls team play at not their usual standard... their score are like only half or 2/3 of their usual standard i think... but overall still picked up the scores on the last few games... overall i think they can do better if 1 is not having fever, 1 not having flu, 1 not having throat problem and injuring her ankle, i think they can do much better... tomorrow got another game but i cannot go support them... got school training... sianz anyway JIA YOU!!!

Must sleep liao... tmr if i can wake up at 8am i go support the guys team. they should do better ba....

Well, red meat with red wine is common sense rite? so what happens if u got red meat with only white wine?..... time for some cocktail!

Added some cream of cassie (black currant flavour liqueur) for the red wine taste and some amaretto(almond flavour liqueur) for the bitter sweet taste on to a cube of sugar. then slowly add in the white wine...

made a mistake in choosing wine... fuck it... i use a year 2000 vintage white wine that taste not bad but arg.. the alcohol content is confirm not the same stated on the label... just after a few sip, i feel a bit hot liao... then a few more sip i feel my head is light... even my mum who drink hardcore liqueur often got a bit tipsy.... i guess this is the closest i get to being drunk... i have not been drunk b4 :) bitter sweet taste, that is kinda good i think...

well, today i manage to get to school at 8am LOL! then at 10am attended the com tool kit lesson and got back my info report (about STDs) which i got 23/30... the best result i got so far...

after sch i went to chinatown with my mum. actually is my mum do shopping and need some one to carry for her... went around then stop at a sweet snacks shop. my mum bought 3 kg of mu shu ($1.50/100g) then went around again bought dried coconut strips (one of my fav) and some baked stuff. later i brought her to a shop in temple street cause she said she is looking for equipment to cook the reunion dinner. we went to lau choy seng, the shop where i got 30% of my cocktail equipment. she bought 2 bambo mat like thing... i more or less can guess what she cooking liao :) even thought she nv tell me wat she cooking tat night :) must be buddha jump over the wall or sumthing similar that require stuff in a pot to be seperated into diff category.

then we went to another shop down the street to look for pot, she said she wanted to make kim chi... OMFG! she so free now she even know how to make korea national dish.... well... good for me, i looking for more bar equipment also :D she looking for her pot, i looking for my bar equipment :) I finally found mine but she ended up buying a shredder instead for lao yue sheng at home lor, shredding thos raddish and carrot... she also dun need to say i can know.... she is so predictable... girls nowadays is so unlike my mum... so unpredictable....

after tat we went to eat high tea at smith street i think... ate some dim sum... not really good but cheap and fresh... Fresh as in dish is cook after the customer order... as a person who likes to eat, i can tell with one look the ingredients like prawns is not fresh at all...well, there is a chinese saying, Yi Fen Qian, Yi Fen Huo, guess its true...

after tat my mum want to buy barbercue meat, which i am so suprise to see a queue longer than a 4d or toto queue just to buy some meat that are so damn ex! well my mum lasy to queue for long so we went to another shop which have lesser queue but still got quite a long queue...

then my mum still wanna buy stuff like bambo fungus and sharks fin... almost can see the dish in my head liao... should be soup type with cornstarch ones liao, confirm sticky sticky one... she some more want to buy dried ones... OMFG... my mum is so damn free to even buy dried sharks fin and not those ready prepared ones....

after the shopping i went bowling and today, bowled a normal average... a problem arise..... I fucking can strike but cannot spare! WTF! if every game i spare all i can easily get 200+ liao just bcause i can strike but cannot spare, my score stuck at 150-180 range.... Pin 10 is really.... Dunno use wat word to describe pin 10 leh.... damn jia lat...

went shopping for sausage (after the carbonara i got addicted to lamb sausage) bought other flavour, rosemary and another garlic with herbs...

went home i lightly fry the sausage and make the wine cocktail. serve it to my guenie pig, my mum :) sis bak home kinda late so too bad... if not got another guenie pig ;) then after preparing the dish, i chop all the remainding strawberry and make a bottle of strawberry infused white rum(barcadi).

well, i feel kinda high after drinking half bottle of wine... must slp liao... hack care anything liao....

well spend some time making the carbonara! taste superb cause i make one mah! hahahaha... anyway really taste good cause i make it with my heart and soul... i think 2 week later i can say bye bye to most the delicious food in the world! gonna put on braces.... i use the garlic lamb sausage and normal chicken sausage. added some aspragus and baby corn for more vitamin and nutrients.

simple drink that taste so-so... its made with ice, 30ml campari, 30ml sweet vermouth and top with soda water.

therefore, i decided to change a bit here and there but in the end change alot lol!

Hemo No. 1 (the first drink i made myself)

This drink is made using 4 orange flavoured liqueur: Campari(bitter sweet orange), Grand marnier (orange flavour cognac), Vodka mandrin (orange flavour vodka) and Cointreau (refreshing orange flavour). If u wonder y is the colour red and pinky-orange, u got some talent! i added another ingredent: rose syrup, just a little to get the colour and sweetness. finally the drink is top with 7-up ice!

Hahahaha, my mum say it taste the best among all the drinks i made. anyway its really fun comming out with stuff from scratch. the drink was created with an topic, orange flavour. but i dun wanna use orange juice cause it is damn simple. therefore orange flavour liqueurs + sumthing to make it lighter, easier on the mouth, refreshing then all adds up to Hemo No. 1 !!!

LOL, becoming worst day by day... miss 2 lesson in the morning today and only went to MPP workshop session... Copy answers in quiz and cheated a bit here and there in the programming... BAD BOY ME!

went to the dentist after the lesson and the dentist show me x-rays of my mouth(i didn't realise i got 4 wisdom tooth...) then put some rubber stuff in between my tooth then assign the next appointment time. when i ask how much is it for today, i was shock! $800... that rubber stuff cost $800? the x-ray i paid last time liao so cannot be so ex mah... then chey! the nurse told me it was the fee for putting the rubber and braces(which is 2 weeks later, 1st feb). then the dentist came to talk to me about my jaws. my lower jaws are out then the upper ones. he gave me 2 option to repair it.

option 1: sugery, push back the lower jaw.

option 2: push out the upper jaw then push back the lower jaw(without sugery)

i went home then discuss with my mum and she say 2 straight away. she said no to sugery! well, i was thinking abt 2 too... well, its decided then, 2 will be the choice.

after tat i went to cook carbonara, actually its for breakfast :) every morning eat bread with jam is so boring lor... since tonite got some time i cook lor. not very hard, takes abt 15 min to prepare then another 15 min to cook.

Question: who should be the first to eat the carbonara cooked by me?

Answer: of course is me lar! if no good i rather throw away(which luckily never happen b4) then let ppl eat lor... will tarnish my reputation leh...

after tat i go back to my room then i realise i still got a family genogram haven finish... OMFG! with some help from my mum i manage to do this much...
